Albert Einstein once said “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

Every child is born and raised differently. Their learning capacity, pace and needs differ from one another. However, the glaring reality in today’s education system is that students’ academic placement and self-worth are often determined by conventional one-size-fits-all examinations.  Large class sizes in school and in typical tuition classes cater only to a select few. The education system is meritocratic, in line with Singapore’s values, but not entirely fair to our children who are still in their developmental years.

We strongly believe that each child should be given the opportunity to learn in accordance with his/ her own pace. In order to achieve that, the first step is to have a small classroom size, allowing educators to not only track and understand individual performance, but also giving them the space to engage each student meaningfully.
