About the subject:
Physics is the study of the natural world. It deals with the fundamental particles of which the universe is made, and demands a coherent understanding of energy, matter, and their interrelationships.
The main focus of this syllabus is Classical Physics – the fundamental understanding for the development of quantum properties in advanced topics. With mathematics being the main medium for comprehension of these theories, an analytical mind with critical thinking processes are key to appreciating the beauty of Physics.
We aim to develop values and attitudes relevant to Science by promoting the acquisition of scientific expertise, curiosity and deeper understanding of physical models, behaviours and patterns.
